Kids Bedtime Story / The Quarrel of the Bees

 The Quarrel of the Bees

In the busy world of buzzing bees, where honey drips like liquid gold and hives are homes, there lived a colony of cheerful insects. But one spring, a hive full of trouble stirred among them, teaching them a lesson as sweet as nectar.

Once upon a buzzing springtime, in the land of honey and hives, there was a buzz-tastic buzz about who owned the hive. You see, the female bees were busy bees, buzzing away, building their hive with skill and grace. But oh, those lazy male bees! They were more interested in buzzing around, enjoying the sunshine and flowers.

One sunny day, after much buzzing and bumbling about, the female bees finished their hive. But uh-oh, here comes trouble! The male bees suddenly wanted to take charge, causing a big buzz-filled quarrel. What to do? They decided to seek advice from the wisest critter around, the hornet.

The wise old hornet listened carefully and then buzzed out his judgment: "Both male and female bees must build another hive. Whoever finishes first will be the true hive owners!"

Well, you can imagine the look on the male bees' faces! They were as confused as bees in a maze because they had no clue how to build a hive. But those clever female bees? They were all abuzz with excitement! They quickly got to work, buzzing around and building a brand-new hive faster than you could say "honeycomb."

When it was time for the judge's final buzz, it was crystal clear: the female bees had once again shown their hive-building prowess. So, the hive belonged to them fair and square!

Moral :  Wisdom is the fruit of experience.

The End.
