Kids Bedtime Story / The Peach and the Apple

The Peach and  the Apple

In the orchard's vibrant midst, a peach and an apple clash in a contest of beauty. Amidst their squabble, a wise blackberry intervenes to teach a lesson in harmony.

Once upon a sunny day in the orchard, there was a juicy dispute between a peach and an apple. They were both convinced they were the most beautiful fruit in the land, and their argument echoed through the trees like a fruity symphony. "I'm the prettiest!" declared the peach with a swish of its fuzzy tail. "No way, it's me!" retorted the apple, shining brightly in the sunlight.

Their debate raged on, with neither willing to back down. Finally, they decided to settle things with a big debate. As they argued louder and louder, the other fruits in the orchard couldn't help but listen in.

Just when it seemed like their quarrel would never end, a wise old blackberry, hidden in a nearby bush, decided enough was enough. It popped its head out and shouted, "Hey, you two! Your arguing is as sour as unripe grapes. Why not be pals instead of squabbling like a pair of silly bananas?"

The peach and the apple paused, looking at each other sheepishly. Maybe the blackberry was onto something. With a chuckle, they reached out their leafy branches and shook hands, putting their disagreement behind them.

And so, peace was restored in the orchard once again. The fruits learned that sometimes it's better to be sweet like strawberries than sour like lemons. After all, as the wise blackberry said, the smartest fruits know how to avoid unnecessary fights and live in harmony.

Moral: Intelligent beings seek peace over pointless quarrels.

The End.
